ST Ring Lug Terminal Blocks – Compact and Touch Safe

In addition to meeting CSA/UL standards for high voltage power transmission applications, the ST Ring Lug line offers the fastest termination method for ring lug style terminals by incorporating a hinged shroud and a self-locking (captive) fastener in a new touch-safe design. Additional features include jumper capabilities to distribute voltage and signals, test disconnect terminals, a combi-foot design for TS-32 and TS-35 DIN-rail mounting, and numerous connection options from lug dimension to standard or integrated test socket screws.
Also included in the ST Series are new variations of Weidmuller’s classic open-style ring lug terminals.

WDK 10 - Double Level Terminals Reduce Cabinet Space by 50%
Weidmuller’s new WDK 10 dual-level terminal is designed to reduce cabinet space by 50% and is ideally suited for applications where there is limited panel space for power distribution terminal installations. Two configuration types are available, Dual-level (WDK 10) and a Dual-level bussed (WDK 10 V) that commons 4-wires to one terminal. With a 10mm width, the new WDK 10 offers one of the highest wiring densities among screw terminals for power distribution applications requiring 6AWG conductors.

WDK 2.5 Series - For Machinery, Process and Power Generation Industries
The new WDK 2.5 DU PE TR multiple level terminal blocks are designed to reduce cabinet space and increase functionality in signal-loop circuit installations. By connecting the signal wire to the upper level, the neutral to the lower level and the shield to the integrated PE contact, a signal loop can be connected to just one terminal.
The unique integrated PE contact also eliminates the need for a separate PE terminal block and reduces needed cabinet space. At only 5.1mm wide, the new WDK 2.5 DU PE TR is one of the highest wiring density solutions in screw-clamp termination for DCS marshalling or PLC applications.

P-Series: Push-In Connection Technology
The P-Series is Weidmuller’s new generation of modular terminals distinguished by a concise yet uniquely flexible portfolio. The cornerstone of this concept is the “Push In” connection technology which enables a reduction in the terminal variants while providing incredible cost savings. What this means is that the three terminal block types PDU 2.5/4, PDU 6/10 and PDU 16 can provide you with rational wiring solutions up to 16 mm2. In the past you would have needed five different types of terminal blocks.
This innovative product concept is the result of targeted detail engineering. With a width of 5.1 mm, the PDU 2.5/4 and PDL 4 types are the same size as an old 2.5 mm2 terminal, but are rated at 32 A – previously only possible with a 4 mm2 terminal. The data of the other terminals in the range is equally impressive: PDU 6/10 – 8.1 mm and 57 A; PDU 16 – 12 mm and 76 A. The Weidmuller P-Series gives users a range of modular terminals that unites the performance features of their “big brothers” with the compact size of their “little brothers”.

I-Series: IDC Connection Technology
IDC stands for Insulation Displacement Connection. Innovative, more effective, offering greater cost-savings and maximum contact reliability. This method of connection, already tried and tested in telecommunications and electronics, is now available for industrial applications incorporated into modular terminals.
The IDC technology results in minimum work during installation but still guarantees reliable contact – and all without special cable preparation tools, the associated time or cost. All standardized PVC-insulated conductors with cross-sections between 0.21 and 1.5 mm2 (0.5 and 2.5 mm2) are suitable for this type of connection.
Users who wish to connect special conductors should consult Weidmüller first. If it is not possible to connect a certain type of conductor, the Weidmüller hybrid terminals, could offer the best solution. These terminals have an IDC on one side and either a screw or tension clamp connection on the other.

Z-Series: Tension Clamp Connection Technology
Modular terminals with tension clamp connections – the Z-Series – were specially designed to meet customers’ requirements: compact size, generous marking surfaces, integral test point, cross-connection options within the Z-Series and to other Weidmüller modular terminals.
The Z-Series terminals have a wide clamping range and can accommodate one or two cross-connection channels. The plug-in standard cross-connections enable potentials to be distributed over any number of terminals.
