Application Sales Engineer
Location: Houston
Job Summary:
Serves as a technical resource in the South Central Region for all Weidmuller products and applications. Provides technical and application support to new and existing customers. Some travel required. Responsible for calling on engineering firms, end users and system integrators to drive Weidmuller project specifications as well as providing field application support for strategic OEM’s. Additional responsibilities include training the regional field sales staff and channel partners for the continued learning and market development of our advanced connectivity products.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (Electrical Engineering preferred) or related sales and technical experience.
3-5 years experience in application engineering and/or selling technical products in the industrial automation environment.
Ability to evaluate electrical drawings, prints, schematics and specifications and to cross reference competitive products.
Experience working with industrial distribution and manufacturer reps.
Product Marketing Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA Corporate Office
Job Summary:
Assists with and coordinates the development and execution of marketing plans. Performs customer, market and competition analysis and generates collateral materials and special pricing agreements.
Position Requirements:
Four-year undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or equivalent experience
2+ years of business-to-business marketing, sales or equivalent experience
Strong presentation, communication and project management skills
