In September 2022, the collaboration began with an evaluation of the current state of process and structures at Langer E-Technik. This was carried out by Weidmüller experts. The team conducted an in-depth analysis of the company’s panel building construction on site and worked with Langer E-Technik to define individual targets for increasing efficiency.
Following the workplace analysis, an in-depth workshop was held at Weidmüller in Detmold to identify exactly where the potential for optimizing existing processes lies. Over the course of an intensive 1.5 days, all work processes were closely examined with the managing director, the workshop manager and a foreman.
Weidmüller offers years of experience in panel building and provided us with comprehensive advice on an equal footing – we have not only broadened our horizons, but now have double the throughput with the same number of staff.
Overall, Langer E-Technik has revised and optimized its panel building in many areas, always based on Weidmüller’s many years of experience.
With the knowledge gained off the workshop, various processes were improved using LEAN methods and waste was minimized.
