To cope with the extreme environmental conditions, offshore and mobile harbour cranes need sturdy distribution enclosures that are not affected by saltwater, wind, sun, or dust. They also need to be able to cope with shock and vibrations.

Assembled stainless steel enclosures for BEA Electrics
The Viennese metro station was renovated and equipped with 600 assembled Klippon® STB steel enclosures. The update was necessary to ensure safe illumination of the trackside.
The enclosures made of electro-polished steel met the high standards of Vienna’s civil service. They were supplied with high-temperature gaskets, secure cable glands and fire-proof ceramic terminals (type SAKK).
