For the second consecutive year, Weidmüller has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2023 honor by Richmond Times-Dispatch.

“As a family-owned company with a long tradition, we are honored to receive this employee-nominated award that recognizes our culture and values,” said Bernd Schröder, President, Weidmüller USA. He added, “Our employees, whether early career graduates or seasoned professionals, represent our most valuable resource and are the foundation of our success. As a recipient of the coveted ‘Richmond Top Workplaces’ award over the past two years, we are excited to continue that trend while growing our workforce in the Greater Richmond area.”

“I’m ecstatic that Weidmüller has won Richmond Times Dispatch’s Top Workplaces 2023 for the second year in a row, as well as winning numerous cultural awards,” said Mollie O’Donnell Neeter, Sr. Director of Human Resources, US Division. She stated, “I can speak for all Leadership that attaining Top Workplaces is a source of celebration by validating that our strategic direction, core operating philosophy of family values, service to the employee, and innovation is embedded in our Company DNA at all levels of the company.”

Weidmüller won three cultural badges for employee appreciation, company direction and work-life balance - putting them in the top 5% of companies that applied. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

"Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”

Weidmüller won eight more cultural badges - putting them in the top 25% of companies that applied for: clued-in employees, trusted leaders, supportive managers, strong values, open-minded, meaningful work, leaders in the know and innovation.
