After a conductor has been cut it is then prepared for the next step - crimping. Now available, an automated machine that attaches individual reeled-ferrules onto conductors in one step. Like its predecessor, the Crimpfix 2.5, the new Crimpfix 2.5 M performs accurate stripping and crimping ferrules onto conductors in the range of 20 – 14 AWG, in as little as 1.5 seconds per wire. In addition, the new Crimpfix 2.5 M incorporates a simple conversion tool that increases the wire gauge range to 22 AWG (sold separately) and a menu driven display.
