Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Weidmüller Benelux joined the High Tech Software Cluster (HTSC) in May. This cooperation fits with Weidmüller's development from component supplier to service and solution provider. In this internationalised, technologically changing world, the complexity of requirements is rapidly increasing due to the emergence of new markets. New, more varied challenges have to be overcome, and the solutions to these will not be found in high-tech products alone. "We as Weidmüller stepped into a new world. With this partnership we would like to promote and position ourselves even more as a high-tech software provider", comments Klaas Wijbenga, Automation Sales Engineer at Weidmüller Benelux.

The High Tech Software Cluster is a partnership of over 30 innovative software companies, research organizations and educational institutions that helps industrial companies find their way in digitization. The project initiated by Brainport Development offers a range of different opportunities to learn about and get started with digital transformation or the engineering of smart products.

The goal for now and the future is to be part of the industry community, contribute to projects, partnering, innovations and technologies, customers and focus on Industrial Automation, Digitalisation & Software. “It is an ideal platform for knowledge sharing. We want to spread our knowledge and act as a team member. Weidmüller contributes with software tools, like Industrial AutoML, the HMI/SCADA software PROCON-WEB or Resource management ResMa®, and other cluster members can use these to complement their solutions. It is also a great way to get in touch with customers from the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany”, notes Wijbenga.

Weidmüller provides dedicated technology and solutions in hardware and software around the Industrial Automation & IoT. Thus, the company brings extensive industry experience to the table. From a comprehensive product portfolio, via their own industrial production capabilities, to diverse references with machine builders and operators. Weidmüller is continuously aspiring to extend their network with innovative partners.
