Richmond, Virginia -Weidmuller presents its new compact TFI-Series relays for building and factory automation. These compact timing relays for universal applications in factory and building automation fulfill many functions in industrial environments. Timing relays are used in automation technology in order to compensate for errors caused by high clock rates. Short pulses are extended and are reliably identified by downstream control components.

The new timing relay portfolio includes 5 different devices with functions: Star-delta start, Clock generator, Multifunction, On-delay and Off-delay. With the portfolio, we address the most important applications in building and factory automation. This relay portfolio has easy configuration by rotatory switches, according to the international standard EN 61812 for timing relays and approved cULus listed for the North American market. Along with cULus approval, TFI has recessed potentiometer buttons, analog indication of LED, a temperature range from -25 C to +60 C and is also CE-certified.

TFI time relays have a compact industrial design in 1 CO and or 2 normally open contacts. With a wide temperature range, and continuous current from 3 to 8 Amp versions available, from a technical perspective, these timer relays cover the most critical of applications in various industrial functions.
