Decentralised systems save space in the control cabinet, but the components have to be installed in small, flat distribution boxes. This leads to new wiring challenges.

The new Klippon® Connect terminal blocks with lateral PUSH IN connection combine the advantages of PUSH IN and screw connection technology. Conductors can be connected without a bending radius, without tools. This reduces the installation height and increases clarity, as markings and functional areas remain clearly visible even when wired.

The number of sensors and actuators in the field is growing. More and more potentials have to be wired, fused, or even separated in the control cabinet. One example is servomotors with the potentials plus, minus, or PE. They require clear wiring, including fused potential.

The new two-tier terminals of the A2T 4 FS and A2T 4 DT series combine up to three functions per terminal. For example, you can choose between "disconnect, continuity, PE" or "fuse, continuity, PE". Sensors and actuators can be wired conveniently and clearly on just one terminal block. The potentials can be fused or also disconnected. Cross-connection channels on each level ensure safe potential distribution on the terminal strip.

Increasing automation increases the number of sensors and actuators within the plant. With constant space conditions within the switchgear cabinet, these sensors and actuators must be wired clearly. More compact designs of the components and the increase in wiring density are the resulting requirements for the control cabinet components.

Our A3T 1.5 three-level terminal blocks with 3.5 mm pitch meet these requirements. Depending on the variant, they each carry a different or a common potential on three levels. In this way, up to 60 conductors can be contacted and 30 different potentials can be routed on a width of 3.5 cm. In addition, each potential can be connected to the neighbouring terminal block via a ZQV cross-connection. This achieves maximum wiring density.

In industrial control panels, the smallest electronic components often have to be integrated to protect sensitive electronics, to connect components, to visualize operating states, and much more. Furthermore, maximum flexibility is required for the individual design of circuits.

Our terminal blocks with integrated electronic components provide a space-saving way of integrating important functions into circuits. The standard portfolio includes terminals with integrated diodes, resistors, and LEDs. In addition, specific components can be selected and soldered into the terminal body.
