For operators of PV systems, it is important to connect the system to the grid quickly and easily. To achieve this, the array controller – the system’s central control unit – must be equipped with the appropriate telecontrol technology. With PROCON-Connect, it is now possible to integrate the IEC 60870-5 telecontrol standard into park controllers. Thanks to a no-code approach, installation and commissioning can be completed in a short time. This eliminates the need for custom solutions, keeps the system straightforward and avoids additional hardware costs. At the same time, it enables TAB-compliant connection of the entire PV system.
Even a microsecond of overvoltage can destroy devices. The AC SPD Box protects electrical installations, charging stations and inverters. The box operates in the AC range – depending on the model, with type 1/2 or type 2 surge arresters, as well as optional communication surge protection. As the AC surge protection is pre-assembled, it saves installers time. There is no need to lay out and assemble the individual parts.
